Early Fall Wildlife viewing and photography packtrip (September 7 to 12, 2014)

September is a great time to be in the wilderness mountains.  Shorter days and a touch of frost begins the transformation in the vegetation which brings out the brilliant golds and reds in the autumn leaves.  Elk, deer, wolves, moose, bear, mountain goats, waterfowl and other birds along with the beaver, pine marten, wolverine and many others feel the upcoming changes in season and begin preparing for the colder days ahead.  This period of time offers a spectacular opportunity for seeing some wild country and for the photographer, the options are endless.
